SOAR is the flagship program of the TD Foundation. This program will focus on preparing students for college and their careers. The goal of SOAR is to help any interested student soar to the next level by offering academic tutoring and opportunities to explore life outside their community while preparing them for college.
The Village program will work to bridge the gap between parents, youth, school, police, and the community. This will be accomplished by working with the youth and local community leaders to provide opportunities to make positive impacts in the community by organizing community projects and beautification efforts. Through this program we hope to facilitate the development of healthy relationships between youth, their peers, adults, and the community.
Real Talk focuses on giving youth a voice in their community. This will be done by providing a place where young men and women can speak safely, freely, openly among their peers, organizational staff, and members of the community about any questions or issues they maybe facing.
Our Needs
TD Foundation is currently looking for a sponsor to help secure transportation for our students. Many of the students that we serve don't have transportation to attend many of the programs and events throughout the year. This year we hope to secure a van that will provide transportation to every student that wishes to be part of TD Foundation.
TD Foundation's current needs are for financial and educational support. The Financial support of the organization is crucial to our success and will help fund our programs which will allow the organization to reach more middle and high school students in Grand Prairie (Dallas County & Tarrant County)
We are also looking for Volunteers for future events and academic support. Please visit www.tdfoundation.net/get-involved
