Meet Brooks. Born at just 36 weeks and weighing only four pounds, Brooks entered the world facing an uphill battle. He was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called mandibulofacial dysostosis with microcephaly (DFTUD2), which affects the development of his face, skull, and hearing. His first days were spent in the NICU learning how to eat and grow strong enough to go home.
When Brooks began therapy at The Warren Center, his family carried both fear and fierce hope. Week after week, they showed up, celebrating small victories that most take for granted. With the support of his therapists, Brooks began gaining strength, learning new skills, and discovering the joy of connection through smiles, sounds, and movement.
Today, his progress, whether it’s a new milestone, a burst of laughter, or simply a good day, is a powerful reminder that early support can change everything. His journey makes it clear: the need is real, the work is urgent, and the impact lasts a lifetime.
Every child has a different journey, and The Warren Center is there every step of the way. Be a part of this journey by donating through North Texas Giving Day.
The Warren Center will strives to not turn a child or family away due to an inability to pay. For each and every one of the 1,300 children we serve, the agency needs to raise $2,000 to cover the costs of services. This alleviates the family from an overwhelming financial burden so they can focus on the health and well-being of their child. Our main goal is to change children's lives and we can continue to do so through your generous donations.

The Warren Center is a nonprofit agency that advocates, serves and empowers the children and families impacted by developmental delays and disabilities.
The families we serve come from all walks of life and so do we.
Our staff, board of trustees, and volunteers come from a wide variety of backgrounds, not just because it is the right thing to do, but because it makes our agency stronger. Our organizational philosophy stands on four pillars: trustworthiness, resourcefulness, being experts in our field and making decisions through an ethical lens. In order to serve our community at this level, everyone must be included. We welcome the unique contributions that each person brings including but not limited to their education, opinions, culture, ethnicity, race, sex, gender identity and expression, nation of origin, age, languages spoken, veteran’s status, color, religion, disability, sexual orientation and beliefs.
Our vision is that all children reach their full potential. Inclusion gets us there.
