Our Mission:

Why We Exist:

Who We Serve:

We intend to open Fort Worth STEAM Academy in Central East Fort Worth. We are intentionally locating our school centrally so we can serve students throughout the Eastside. We anticipate serving over 90% of low-income students of color.

What We Do:

Fort Worth STEAM Academy is a public charter middle school focused on STEM+Arts education proposed to open in August of 2026. The school will be 100% tuition-free and open to all students (no entrance exams or auditions)

Our BIG Goals:

1. All students are promoted from Fort Worth STEAM Academy, meeting or exceeding grade-level standards and enrolling in Fort Worth High Schools of Choice.

2. All students receive robust STEAM career exposure showcasing the wide variety of post-secondary options available to them.

Reasons to Support:

Excellent Education for All Students: Fort Worth STEAM Academy is working to ensure that all students, regardless of their background, receive a high-quality education that provides them a future of choice and opportunity.

Workforce Readiness: Fort Worth STEAM Academy is working to increase the number of students pursuing careers in the STEAM fields. These in-demand, well-paying roles will provide our students with bright futures.

Mission

Our mission is to prepare all middle school students for success in high school, college, and career through a STEAM focused education, a joyful culture of high expectations, and robust community partnerships.

Needs

Fort Worth STEAM Academy plans to launch its STEM+Art camps in 2025! These camps will help is accomplish two critical goals:

1) Pilot Essential Components of our Academic Model: Through hands-on STEAM activities, we will test essential components of their academic model, building student interest and engagement in preparation for the school’s future launch.

2) Build Community Support: We will conduct information and feedback sessions to engage families, providing them with opportunities to share feedback and contribute to the future school’s development.

Here's an example of what your dollars can do to support the launch of our STEM+Arts Camps:

$50 - provides snacks for one camp session.

$75 – provides art supplies for one camp session.

$150 - provides rental space for one camp session.

$200 – provides one robotics kit.

$500 – funds an entire camp session.
