S.A.F.E Program (Strengthening the At-Risk Family Environment) is our signature Emergency Shelter Assistance program to assist victims. The SAFE Program seeks to immediatelyimprove the housing, health, and development of homeless and at-risk mothers and children. Since WCM has not acquired a transitional housing facility we will employ an emergency mobilecase management model, meeting and serving clients where they live. We place these women in hotels, extended stay suites and apartments to immediately secure their safety until long term arrangements can be made.
S.T.A.B.L.E. Program supports business and professional women as described above by securing safe housing for themselves and their children without having to be placed in a shelter-like environment. We operate a safe house in addition to coordinating with individual apartment managers and real estate services to secure housing at a reduced rate and supplement the costs for rent and utilities based on individual client income assessments for a period of up to six months
P3 Program is an educational Peer Abuse/TeenDating Violence Program is deployed into the Dallas Independent School District’s elementary, middle, and high schools. The cycle of abuse from home is oftentimes replicated and continued in the schools in the form ofpeer-to-peer violence. We are concentrating on deploying this program in schools with students from poor socioeconomic backgrounds who are generally more exposed to domestic violence in the home.
