Give and Giggle

Who knew? All I knew was that I wanted to learn more about using theatre arts for purposes outside of the stage. So I came to Stomping Ground to learn more about their Improv for Life programs.

I’m so proud to be a part of our community. As an instructor, student and board member I have been able to see Stomping Ground from several angles. As an instructor I have love teaching our youth summer camps. Watching students say “Yes! And” while building confidence and finding a place where they can explore being silly and have fun is so rewarding. I also have the amazing privilege to teach students who are on the autism spectrum. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for this opportunity!

As a student taking classes it truly is like recess for adults. Leaving all the demands of adulting and just learning to PLAY is a therapy unto itself. I think every adult should take an improv class.! 

As a board member I am so proud of the work that is being done. I have seen so much dedication and hard work put into making Stomping Ground a place for YOU! whoever you are! That even through the pandemic when so many places were forced to close their doors for good, we have grown in leaps and bounds. And I am so excited for what the future holds.
