This year we are celebrating 10 years of empowering and employing ex-offenders and meeting the needs of seniors across our city! We're looking forward to the next 10; with your help this North Texas Giving Day, we will finish our headquarters and complete the 2S Industries Training Center in South Dallas!
Our Needs
2ndSaturday is rapidly growing its impact throughout West and South Dallas and its key needs are:
1.We are building a training center and workshop for ex-offenders in South Dallas to learn trades and receive life-skills training onsite
2. Continued funding for tools/equipment and other infrastructure to grow 2S Industries, our social enterprise that employs and empowers former felons, gang members and drug dealers through jobs in landscaping & construction
Mission
2ndSaturday is a volunteer-led movement that exists to inspire and empower our forgotten neighbors to experience their God-given value through relationship, service and community transformation.
Needs
Funding to relaunch our volunteer experiences and to scale 2S Industries.
