For over 100 years CC Young has been enhancing the quality of life for all we serve. CC Young began its mission in 1917 when an elderly widow approached Reverend Christopher Conley Young seeking help finding a place to live. Having no one to turn to and no place to go, the Reverend Conley started the home for aged women and mothers. Five years later, the CC Young Memorial Home became a reality, and our mission of Benevolence began. We foster an environment where residents are our priority, providing compassionate care and creating a life-enriching environment where we seek to meet residents' needs and wants. We provide a supportive workplace where staff are encouraged, trained, and developed. Our faith-based community guides us to see every person as a child of God and foster continued spiritual growth in a caring nurturing and inclusive environment.

Our 20-acre college-like campus is designed to keep those we serve body, mind, and spirit engaged and help seniors remain independent at every level of care. We are good stewards of our mission in providing benevolent care for our residents in need and reinvesting donor supported dollars into team member development and facilities.

Mission

To foster premier environments where every life at every age is valued and enriched.

OUR VISION

To enhance the quality of life for all we serve.

Needs

Benevolence

Outliving your income and assets can happen to any of us. When this happens to seniors that have limited means and no family support, it can be devastating. CC Young Benevolence Fund provides a safety net for seniors who have outlived their finances. The fund provides food, shelter, medicine, nursing care, and other life-sustaining services.

Staff Scholarships

The purpose of staff scholarships is to promote the betterment of CC Young employees. Full-time CC Young staff can apply for scholarships at an accredited college, university, trade school, or an approved certification program to increase their specific field knowledge and skill set. CC Young also provides staff with the opportunity to take part in the on-campus CNA certification school.

Equity Statement

As part of our current strategic plan, CC Young seeks to create a culture that embraces diversity at every age. We are a community with open hearts, minds, and doors. Our commitment to faith is caring, nurturing, and inclusive. It is our goal to serve with compassion where everyone is welcomed.

CC Young offers equal opportunity to every employee based on qualification to perform the job only, without regard to disability, race, religion, sex, age, national origin, or veteran.

Our culture committee believes that each team member matters and is motivated to serve each other with excellence, kindness, respect, integrity, and tolerance. Throughout the year the culture committee celebrates and educates the community to highlight our diverse community.
