HOW IT BEGAN
Generations Hope was started by 14-year old Lindsey Kopplow. Lindsey is a member of the Frisco Young Entrepreneurs Academy 2020 (YEA!) and a full-time student at a charter school while also juggling sports and homework. Any amount of spare time Lindsey has is spent completely devoted to bringing hope, fellowship and mentorship to kids and families who need it most. Lindsey and her team have worked hard to become a 501c3 non-profit. We invite you to join us as we grow spiritually, grow as a community, and grow in our role as God's messengers.
WHAT WE DO
Our outreach team and selfless volunteers work together to bring memorable experiences and meaningful relationships to underprivileged youth living in multi-family residences. We head out every Friday night to gather, play, and pray. Our outreach allows us to provide a safe place for kids to hang out, enjoy a hot meal, and have the chance to grow spiritually. We are known by the kids as "The Friday Night Club," and cherish the relationships we build each week through quality time, fellowship, and faith-based mentoring.
For the past 18 months we delivered weekly groceries and snack bags to the kids we serve. On July 23rd we returned to our Friday night outreaches. We had a backpack drive and provided backpacks and school supplies to the kids. We are currently seeking partners to help with Friday night meals for the kids.
Generations Hope is a youth led organization that seeks to improve the lives of children in local multi-family communities by sharing love and hope through quality time, fellowship, and faith based mentoring.
