KERA is the home of PBS and NPR in North Texas. Each week, more than two million people listen to, read and watch programming on KERA TV, KERA News 90.1, KXT 91.7, WRR 101.1, the Denton Record-Chronicle and KERA Kids.

Mission

KERA serves North Texans through public television, radio and multimedia resources that educate, engage, inspire, inform and entertain.

Needs

Contributions will support the essential public broadcasting programs and services relied on by audiences across North Texas. Programming includes:

- The trusted news and in-depth conversations found on KERA News like Think with Krys Boyd, All Things Considered, Morning Edition and Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!

- Insightful documentaries, captivating dramas and educational children's programs on KERA TV like Ken Burns’ films, MASTERPIECE, NOVA, Finding Your Roots, Frontline and Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.

- New music discovery and a platform for local artists on KXT 91.7

- Classical music to promote calm and focus in stressful times on WRR 101.1

- Vital local news coverage for the residents of Denton County from the Denton Record-Chronicle

- KERA Arts, our region's most robust connection to arts and culture

These programs are a source of lifelong learning and community enrichment for millions of North Texans.
