Coaching with the North Texas Mustangs involves other elements, such as mentoring and life skills training. We understand the supportive, healthy relationships formed between mentors and mentees are both immediate and long-term and contribute to a host of benefits for the youth in our community. Our coaches are all about stressing the importance sports. We know first hand that sports is a powerful tool for education and inclusion.
We know that youth participation in sports programming makes young people more likely to achieve positive outcomes. We want to keep our youth involved in sports because it offers a structured opportunity for children to grow, contributing to their development.
THE NTX MUSTANGS ORGANIZATION WAS FOUNDED TO EMPOWER THE YOUTH THROUGH SPORTS. OUR MISSION IS TO BUILD CHARACTER, PROMOTE LEADERSHIP SKILLS, TEAMWORK, DISCIPLINE, POSITIVE VALUES AND HEALTHY HABITS THROUGH SPORTS; WHILE ALSO STRESSING THE IMPORTANCE OF ACADEMICS, RESULTING IN REAL LIFE POWER ON AND OFF THE FIELD!

Funding donated to our program will allow us to :
*keep registration fees at a low cost, making it affordable for participants
*have a scholarship program for low-income families
*rent out fields and provide field lights throughout the year
*host an annual end of season banquet, where we recognize and reward our youth and volunteers for all of their hard work and dedication throughout the year
