Our Needs
1. Leadership Training Scholarships for Women and BIPOC
TISA is dedicated to supporting the amplification of underrepresented voices in American Muslim Leadership. To continue in our efforts to diversify American Muslim leaders, we are seeking motivated supporters who wish to increase the presence of Women, as well as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in leadership roles across the country. Leadership training scholarships for women and BIPOC.
We aim to award 20 Leadership Scholarships at $3000 each, annually. Donate to NTxGD today to support this crucial effort!
2. Scholarships for Mental Health First Aid Training
We are living in unprecedented times. Depression, anxiety, isolation, and suicide are wreaking havoc in communities across the nation. Yet, with mental health crises on the rise, our leadership is often ill-equipped to effectively face this challenge. To remedy this, TISA offers Mental Health First Aid Training workshops to help American Muslim leaders better understand and respond to this pressing need in our communities. In today's world, this training is absolutely crucial and is designed to help our leaders save lives.
We aim to award 40 Mental Health Workshop Scholarships at $300 each, annually. When you support TISA during NTxGD, you help build better mental health resources in your community and beyond.
