North Texas Giving Day is right around the corner and the Achievement Center of Texas will once again participate in this 18 hour event to raise funds to organize fun and enriching outings for our students! Whether it's a trip to the local museum, a visit to the mall, or checking out the attractions in nearby cities, these outings help create lasting memories and teach real life skills.Your support can make a big difference! Every contribution, no matter how big or small, helps us cover transportation costs, admission fees, and other expenses associated with taking all of our students out into the community each and every day. The ACT is a licensed non-profit day habilitation center for adolescents and adults with special needs. We make every effort to offer families services that support those students wherever possible. In providing a wide range of services in the least restrictive environment, students at the Achievement Center can grow and develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. At our center, they work toward greater independence and a more satisfying way of life.
