Cross Timbers Urban Forestry Council

A nonprofit organization

The CTUFC Area is vast and to better serve our communities we have divided up the area into 4 Regions. Through our Citizen Forester program we have educated, trained and graduated hundreds of volunteers. Each region has a coordinator who is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the municipalities in their region and identifying opportunities for skilled Citizen Foresters to help improve the urban forest of their communities.

Our annual Mayfest tree giveaway provides over 4 thousand free trees to the public in an effort to reinforce a trees importance to our ecosystem.

An annual collegiate scholarship is awarded to two individuals pursuing their education in the field of forestry.
