About SPARK!

In Texas’ only fully immersive, creative environment children engage in the exploration of physical movement and hands-on learning. Through extensive curricula of workshops, field trips, scout programs, and camps, SPARK! has proven to increase children’s self-esteem, problem-solving skills and engagement with learning. Students learn that creativity is a process that includes inspiration, collaboration, iteration, and leads to innovation. SPARK! instructors are creative practitioners, innovators, and artists who motivate learners to try new things, to take risks, and to iterate in their pursuit of creativity. The result is a community of children from all socio-economic backgrounds who are empowered to become innovative, creative thinkers and leaders.

The demand for high-quality programs that support the academic and creative development of our community’s youth has been rising since the 1980s. With the global pandemic shuttering the doors of schools and cultural institutions for over a year, kids need SPARK! now, more than ever. SPARK! provides young people a place where they can rebound after this period of isolation, anxiety, and disruption to their lives at school and at home.

Your gift today provides critical support to meet the need for hands-on creative programming. Through SPARK! programs, we can continue cultivating the creative spirit in the youth of our community as well as set the stage for future innovators, problem-solvers, and change-makers.
