Our Needs
DFW Cocker Spaniel Rescue's primary need is for funds to bring our rescued dogs back to full health before adoption. Vet bills average about $400 per dog. The cost of vetting, medical care (surgeries, heartworm treatment, etc.), transport and boarding are made possible by the continued support of our donors.
We always have a great need for foster homes. Fosters provide a temporary home, food and love to help our Cocker Spaniels become the best they can be. Vetting and medical expenses are provided for our dogs while they are in foster homes. We also provide long-term veterinary support for "forever fosters" who may not be adoptable due to health or behavioral issues. These dogs will live out their remaining days in their foster homes.
There are also many other ways to volunteer, such as helping with the transportation of dogs, helping at events, and much more. We would love to have you join us!
