Miles of Freedom: Empowering Lives After Incarceration

Miles of Freedom was initially established after the full exoneration of Richard Miles in 2012, with Mr. Miles and a very small group of dedicated volunteers. Miles of Freedom continues its mission to support individuals, families, and communities impacted by incarceration. We strongly believe that successful reintegration not only assists individuals and families touched by the criminal justice system, but society as a whole.

The Aubrey Jones Legacy Fund

In 2023, Miles of Freedom introduced the Aubrey Jones Legacy Fund, named in honor of our Co-Founder, Mr. Aubrey Jones. This designated fund directly addresses the urgent needs of individuals who struggle to secure essentials or find themselves in crisis.

The Struggle for Essentials

Millions of Americans live just one paycheck away from financial hardship. Rising prices exacerbate the situation, particularly for those already living in poverty. Miles of Freedom tirelessly provides services to empower clients, helping them lead quality lives despite the hardships they face. But what happens when basic necessities become unattainable?

Lending a Hand Up

Recognizing these challenges, Miles of Freedom channels 100% of the funds allocated to the Aubrey Jones Legacy Fund directly into clients’ immediate needs. Your generous contributions enable us to purchase school uniforms and supplies for families, provide work boots and uniforms to those entering the workforce, and cover the costs of essential government documents. Every donation makes a tangible impact on someone’s life.

Join us in supporting the Aubrey Jones Legacy Fund. Together, we can provide a lifeline to those facing adversity, ensuring that no one is left behind. 🤝
