Bedford Citizens Fire Academy Alumni Association

The Bedford Citizens' Fire Academy Alumni Association was formed in May 1999 by members of the first two classes of the Bedford Citizens' Fire Academy for the purpose of bringing together the graduates of the Bedford Citizens' Fire Academy to serve as volunteers in support of the Bedford Fire Department. The Alumni Association's additional stated purposes are to provide aid in increasing public awareness of fire safety measures and to provide continuing and expanded education in methods of saving lives and property.
The BCFAAA manages a Smoke Detector Check program for the City of Bedford Fire Department. This program is held twice a year and requires the purchase of batteries and detectors.
