Camp Jubilee

Camp Jubilee exist to uplift children with sickle cell disease through education, achievement of new and exciting skills, and interaction with others who have the disease, ultimately, inspiring children to recognize that having sickle cell disease does not preclude them from experiencing all that life has to offer. Camp Jubilee, established in 1991, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a week long summer camp experience, at no cost to campers, for children ages 7-14 years with sickle cell disease treated at Children's Medical Center Dallas and Cook Children's Hospital Ft. Worth.
The operation and function of Camp Jubilee is done by a volunteer Board of Directors, officers and camp volunteers. There is no paid staff. All funds raised are used for camp administrative needs and operational cost. Volunteer opportunities are available for male and female counselors to assist campers during the week long summer camp session.
