CASA of Tarrant County and its court-appointed volunteers advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children.
CASA of Tarrant County's immediate needs are operational funding and VOLUNTEERS to expand the agency's ability to serve the exponential growth in the number of child abuse/neglect cases in our community. Recently released statistics show Tarrant County had the 2nd HIGHEST number of confirmed cases of child abuse and/or neglect in the state at 5,162 cases in 2016. This is your community. These are your children. Although Tarrant County ranks #1 on a heartbreaking list, it doesn't have to stay that way. Please join us as we rise to meet the growing need of children who desperately need a voice. CASA of Tarrant County's ultimate goal is to provide a CASA volunteer for every child in foster care. Currently, the need for services is greater than the agency's capacity. With generous support from the community, CASA of Tarrant County is diligently working to close this gap and provide services to more children in 2017.
