Catholic Charities is in need of a variety items to give to our clients. A few of the items needed are gift cards for victims of domestic violence, gas cards and bus passes for elderly clients living on a fixed income and diapers for new moms. Household items are needed to furnish apartments for newly arrived refugees. Volunteers are needed throughout all of our program areas. Some of the tasks they perform include: - Teaching and assisting in financial education, ESL or citizenship classes - Assisting clients in need of immigration consultation services - Tutoring kids in the after-school program - Picking up and sorting donations for apartment set-ups - Helping with food distribution at the food pantries - Assisting with activities at the Brady Senior Center - Answering phones and connecting clients with appropriate programs
