We are a 501(c)(3) that has a heart for those persons caring for their loved ones suffering with Alzheimer Disease or some other form of dementia. Our mission is to provide caregivers with resources, hands on information in an intimate environment through seminars and activities with others who are walking through the season of caregiving. Each individual has their own story when it comes to caregiving, but at the end of the day the common thread is Alzheimer or a form of dementia. Whether a full time caregiver, long distance caregiver or supporting a family member or friend who is caring for that special someone, we want to provide some tools needed to help ease some of the stress in the journey. All donations will help support the needs of caregivers in the North Texas area. Thank you in advance for your support.
Our basic needs is financial support to be able to continue offering caregivers the opportunity to attend seminars and activities hosted by us. Some of the cost we have and will continue to challenge us is: cost of the rental of venues, printing of materials, fees for speakers and special guest, refreshments during our seminars, adequate audio and visual equipment (if not available from the venue) and marketing materials. In the future, we would like to be able to fund a weekend or week of respite care or in home care for the loved ones of some of the caregivers. Also, we would like to supply food during the holiday season for some caregivers to help them with some basic needs expenses.
