Community Partners of Dallas, CPD, is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring safety and restoring dignity and hope to abused and neglected children by providing resources and support to the caseworkers of Dallas County Child Protective Services. Last year, CPD served 20,000 abused kids in Dallas County. Community Partners of Dallas' programs include: the Rainbow Room, Kids in Crisis, The HEART Program, Storyline and Caseworker Appreciation.
Our current agency needs are wide-ranging!
Funds support things like emergency needs (new clothing, hygiene products, food, winter coats, etc.), normal childhood experiences (school supplies, holiday gifts, extracurricular activities ranging from band to sports to summer camp, etc.), our sexual abuse group treatment program and projects intended to keep kids with family members rather than sending them into the foster care system. General operating funds are also tremendously helpful.
In addition we are currently in a capital campaign, raising $12 million to create a new, expanded facility to better serve the Dallas County CPS Caseworkers and the children they serve.
Finally, we collect a wide array of in-kind goods and work with thousands of volunteers annually.
