Cristo Rey Fort Worth High School at Our Mother of Mercy

Cristo Rey Fort Worth High School is a Catholic learning community that educates young people of limited economic means to become men and women of faith, purpose and service. Through a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, integrated with a relevant work-study experience, students graduate ready to succeed in college and in life. Cristo Rey Fort Worth High School is committed to full membership within the Cristo Rey Network and following the Network's Mission Effectiveness Standards. As the largest network of high schools in the country exclusively serving low-income youth, the Cristo Rey Network is successfully advancing the Catholic tradition of educational excellence and individual formation in marginalized communities. Beginning in each student's freshman year, Cristo Rey schools establish a culture of high-expectations by integrating rigorous college preparatory academics, four years of professional work experience, Catholic educational values, and a support base dedicated to assisting its students with enrolling in and succeeding in post-high school education.
To support the development and creation of Cristo Rey Fort Worth, $4.6 million is needed to fund the start-up operating and capital costs.
