Cumberland Presbyterian Children's Home

In response to Christ's love and example, we serve children and families by providing healing and hope.
1) Ongoing support of our mission to provide 24/7 care of up to 32 abused and neglected foster children and teens ages 5-17 years old. We have the only Emergency Shelter for children in Denton County plus a long term cottage for siblings and a long term cottage for girls. We also assist single parent families on the verge of homelessness with low cost housing, life skills and case management and provide sliding scale therapy. We also have sliding scale therapy and education classes for the community. 2) New A/C system in our Emergency Shelter and our gymnasium - approximately $9,000 for both 3) New flooring for the Emergency Shelter - approx $6,000 left to fund this.
