Heart Of Texas Animal Rescue - Ellis County

Heart of Texas Animal Rescue of Ellis County is a 501c3 non-profit organization saving the lives of homeless pets in over-crowded shelters and abandoned in the streets. For the animals in our care, we provide all necessary medical care and complete vetting, including spay/neuter, as we continue to assist in controlling the pet population. The organization then places the pets in a loving foster home while we search for their forever family.
Our needs range from collars and leashes to kennels to dog food to vet bills and medication. When we receive a pet, we don't know if the vet care expenses will be $200 or $2,000 for that pet. Their needs range from simple vaccinations to broken bones to dislocated hips to severe mange to infections to chemical burns, and of course, they all get spayed and neutered before going to their new forever family. Please donate to help us continue to save these homeless animals. We are 100% volunteer-based, so 100% of the money we receive goes directly to the cost of saving the animals. Every dollar counts.
