To provide free, individual tutoring to children in grades 3-8 in a safe learning environment.
The H.O.P.E. Tutoring Center has made a difference in the lives of many Arlington at-risk students for the past 20 years! With your donation, H.O.P.E. can continue to make a difference. H.O.P.E. Tutoring Center, Inc, is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization that provides year-around free, 1:1 tutoring to at-risk Arlington students in grades 3-8. H.O.P.E.'s greatest needs are FUNDING and VOLUNTEERS in order to support the educational needs for at-risk students. Our measuring techniques include the results of the Arlington Independent School District report cards and pre/post testing. The goal is that 75% of the students will show improvement in their grades and behavior at the end of each program. H.O.P.E students always exceed this goal and often 100% of the students improve. H.O.P.E.Tutoring is unique in that it is the only agency of its kind in Arlington that provides one tutor for each student. H.O.P.E. has become well-known in the Arlington community by creating a positive relationship with families, schools and local organizations; therefore, helping to bridge the cultural gap within the community. Teachers recommend us and parents contact us for support for their students. Funding for H.O.P.E.comes from donations and grants. Without donors and grants, we could not operate and help those educationally at-risk students realize success. H.O.P.E.'s success is also due to assigning one volunteer tutor to one student. Therefore, the need for more volunteers constantly exists.
H.O.P.E.'s greatest, current and consistent needs are FUNDING and VOLUNTEERS. All funding is for student programs, materials and part-time staff who coordinate programs and oversee six H.O.P.E.Tutoring sites in order to ensure safe learning environments. DONATE TO H.O.P.E. AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIFE OF A CHILD!
