Human Rights Initiative of North Texas has been serving vulnerable immigrants for the past 17 years. Now, more than ever, HRI's service to this community is essential to ensuring their safety. Since the start, HRI has been fighting for persecuted people from all over the world seeking asylum in the United States. In 2007, we added our Women & Children's Program, serving victims of violent crime including, domestic violence and sexual assault. In more recent years, Human Rights Initiative has been on the forefront of fighting for the rights of unaccompanied immigrant minors. And we do all of this with nearly 300 volunteer attorneys at our side.
Human Rights Initiative of North Texas provides free legal and social services to vulnerable immigrants and asylum seekers who have suffered violent crimes and human rights abuses. HRI advocates for justice and promotes international human rights.
As we head into a new era of anti-immigrant policies, many which severely restrict the rights of the most vulnerable immigrant populations, HRI is gearing up to fight for our client community. Our clients are doctors, nurses, lawyers, and human-rights workers. They are mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, and an important part of our community and country. Your donation directly impacts HRI's ability to serve this population, helping our clients achieve safety and stability in the United States.
