All funds raised on NorthTexas Giving Day will support programs in the Greater DFW area.
In North Texas, Special Olympics Texas serves the needs of over 12,600 athletes with more than 1,400 Certified Coaches and over 9,000 volunteers. Our year-round, world class programming costs the organization $150 per athlete. To meet the social development, self-concept, health and employment training needs of our athletes, SOTX needs to raise $1.9 million in North Texas. 91 cents out of every dollar raised goes directly to programs for our athletes. 100% of funds raised will be used to support the athletes in Dallas and Ft Worth.
