Tarrant Literacy Coalition

The Tarrant Literacy Coalition empowers adult learners and those who teach them with high quality literacy services and resources so businesses can hire, people can work and families can thrive. We offer literacy instruction through high school equivalency classes (Project BEST), in English Language Acquisition/ESL classes, in Adult Basic Education (reading and writing) tutoring and with citizenship instruction. Our Literacy and Learning program offers training and technical support to community and faith based literacy providers in Tarrant and surrounding counties. Each year, we also help thousands of adults who reach out to our Adult Education and Literacy Call Center (817-870-0082) to find literacy classes and other important resources.
Because the Tarrant Literacy Coalition provides support services for adult literacy providers, students and their children, we always need school supplies, office supplies, gently used computers and computer supplies (no more than 5 years old, please) and recently published teaching materials, as well as books for children. Financial support to purchase these items is also always needed and appreciated.
