We are dedicated to rescuing animals who are homeless or abused. Our goal is to assist animal shelters that are over crowded due to animals being surrendered, abandoned or abused. We will assist animals in stressful situations without regard to age, breed or ease of placement.
We place our rescues in loving, responsible, forever homes. We believe in educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a pet into their homes and lives.
Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in loving foster homes while they wait for forever homes of their own.
We also provide assistance to our community through
Education and low-cost or free spaying and neutering as funds allow. We believe that spaying just 1 can safe the lives of many.
Texas Animal Protectors has an average of 30 animals in our foster care. The cost to provide vet care, food and basic needs is about $24,000 a year. We also help our community by offering low-cost or free spaying and neutering. We give vaccines to families in need for their pets. We have also provided pet food for families who need a little extra help. All funds go directly back into helping the animals and families in our community.
