Texas Neurofibromatosis Foundation

Our mission is to meet the needs of people challenged with neurofibromatosis by providing comfort, support, education, advocacy and funding research for its treatment, prevention and cure.
Texas NF does not receive government funding or any proceeds from The United Way; income is generated with gifts from individuals, corporations, private foundations and special events. Your gift will fund patient outreach programs that focus on making a positive impact on our NF patients and their families. Texas NF collaborates with the NF Clinics at Dallas Children's Medical Center and Cook Children's Hospital in Ft. Worth. Patient programs funded by Texas NF include a Clinic Liaison at Children's Medical Center Dallas, Texas NF Family Camp, an Annual Symposium, support groups and social outings free of charge to NF patients and their families. The Foundation also provides funding for NF research grants to serve as a bridge to larger grants from national or government funding. The Foundation is also seeking volunteer support from individuals willing to dedicate their time and skills to help with outreach programs and our events.
