Turning POINT's mission is to develop self esteem and confidence in the physically challenged population through participation in adapted outdoor activities.
Turning POINT provides adapted outdoor activities to people with physical challenges at no charge. These activities include camping, kayaking, trap shoot, fishing, boating, handcycling, archery and hunting. Our handcycling program is growing and more handcycles are needed especially for youths. Just as bicycles, there are various sizes and kinds to handcycles. Replacement equipment is always needed for camping, tubing, fishing, archery, our boats and office. Turning POINT provides all equipment needs at all events. Some activities are offered monthly and others are seasonal. Because our events are free to the participant with a physical challenge and their families, monies are also needed for food and supplies at each event, lease of archery lanes and pontoon marina fees each month throughout the year.
