Since its official incorporation in March 1998, 4 PAWS has found forever homes for almost 3000 animals.
Our Needs
4 PAWS efforts are totally funded by non-taxable, charitable donations and volunteer labor. The continued financial and volunteer support allow us to fulfill our objectives. WE CAN USE YOUR HELP WITH MONETARY DONATIONS. EVERY BIT HELPS.
We have the need for volunteers to assist with adoptions at the Benbrook Animal Shelter at 469 Winscott Dr., Benbrook, TX. 76126. Days and hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Saturdays, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This volunteer opportunity does not take a lot of anyone's time. One day per month would be helpful! And provides an opportunity to walk, love and pet dogs who need human interaction while waiting for their furever homes!

Mission
4PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) is an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit operated exclusively for the promotion of animal welfare. Objectives: (1) provide volunteers to assist in the care of animals in the Benbrook Animal Shelter, (2) facilitate placement of homeless, abandoned animals, or animals in need, (3) assist in the health promotion, well being of shelter animals, (4) provide community education about animal welfare & promotion of responsible pet ownership.
