Adopt My Heart

Since Adopt My Heart began in 2016, 534 heartworm positive dogs have been adopted under our sponsorship and over $367,000 in vet bills have been sponsored!!

Thanks to your continued support, every heartworm positive dog at Collin County Animal Services has been sponsored for treatment since we began in 2016. We've also assisted with special medical care for dogs up for adoption at Collin County Animal Services as well as dogs with special needs immediately after being adopted. As Collin County Animal Services expanded their foster program in 2023, we've partnered with them to assist with emergency medical needs of those foster animals.  Our 2024 special medical sponsorships have included, among others, a knee surgery for Tabitha while she awaited adoption, parvo treatment for Danbury after he was adopted and emergency vet care for two tiny kittens in foster care.

We're all painfully aware that medical costs continue to rise, which makes your donations that much more important as the cost of heartworm treatment is higher than ever.
