Giving Activity

Mission

OUR MISSION is to find permanent Christ-centered adoptive homes for children in foster care through faith-based recruitment and collaborative community efforts.

Needs

Our Needs

Advantage Adoptions - OCOC wants to help more foster children have permanent homes. We need funding to maintain the wonderful programs and services we provide to children and families! Donations are needed to recruit new families and get them ready to adopt children. Funds will cover the cost of family recruitment, consultation, verification, and licensing. Other costs to insure child safety include Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and parent training for couples and single adults who want to adopt. The organization needs funding for background checks, purchase of fire extinguishers, medical cabinets and safety locks, and tuberculosis (TB) screens for potential adoptive parents. The organization needs help to provide Kinship adoptive families and foster/adopt families with twin beds, matching linen, clothing and shoes for children who have been placed in their homes on an emergency basis. Funds are needed to cover after-school and summer program costs for children.
