$25,000 Goal
All Star Equestrian serves the community by offering therapeutic horseback riding, Occupational and Physical therapy through our hippotherapy program for physically, emotionally and cognitively challenged individuals from age 2 to the golden years, and we also have a veteran program called Armed Forces & Horses. Our facility is located on 35 acres south of Fort Worth, and we have a 100 X 200' covered arena along with 25 acres of trails. We are a PATH International Premier Accredited Center with 5 PATH certified instructors, 1 Occupational therapist and 1 Physical therapist. With our dedicated staff we are able to combine the health needs of our riders with our special string of therapy horses to make a difference in the lives of so many. Autism, Cerebral Palsy, TBI, Developmental delays and Stroke are only a few of the many disabilities we serve. Please join our team and help us change the day-to-day lives of our riders.
Our major current need is help with maintaining our exceptional string of therapy horses. The lack of rain this year has pushed our facility to feed more hay than ever to help our equine therapy partners stay happy and healthy. Pastures at All Star just don't have the amount of grass they normally do. We would like to use the funds raised from NTGD to help with our $25,000 annual budget of hay. This includes both round bales and square bales annually for 15 horses. Please help us meet this goal so that we can continue to care for and feed the horses that make our program exist!
To Improve Physical, Cognitive, and Emotional Fitness through Therapeutic Horseback Riding, Equine Assisted Activities, and Therapies.
All Star Equestrian would like to raise $25,000 to purchase the round and square bales and feed needed to maintain our string of horses used for our therapeutic horseback riding program. Without our horses, our program would not be able to help cognitive, physical and emotionally challenged people of all ages.
In our 2022 review of Profit & Loss, All Star Equestrian paid an increase of 245% in hay and our feed expenses increased 31% from the previous year. This was due to inflation of fertilizer, seed, fuel, and the Texas drought. In 2024, we are preparing on the cost of inflation, and at the same time our rider base has increased as we have many new riders over the past year.
