Animal Hope organization rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes at-risk animals from high volume shelters. Our organization seeks to make animal adoption more accessible to the average family by providing a low stress environment to meet animals, matching animals to appropriate families, and promoting responsible pet ownership practices through training, education, and post-adoption care.
Many of the animals that enter our program are in need of serious medical interventions, which are made possible by our innovative partnership with Animal Hospital Southwest.
And while our primary mission focuses on at risk North Texas animals and placing them in homes as companions, we have received over 100 dogs from international rescue partners (in Korea, Afghanistan, and Oman) and have placed many dogs in service dog training programs learning complex service tasks to change the lives of disadvantaged humans.
Our organization rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes at-risk animals from high volume shelters. Our organization seeks to make animal adoption more accessible to the average family by providing a low stress environment to meet animals, matching animals to appropriate families, and promoting responsible pet ownership practices through training, education, and post-adoption care.
Our primary organizational goals include:
1) construction / infrastructure improvements to our facility, which is a repurposed animal hospital that needs some rehabilitation to streamline processes and improve standards of care
2) implementation of a training program for dogs based on time on shelter and perceived adoptability
Commitment to Animals:
We are dedicated to providing equitable care and support to all animals in need, particularly those facing additional challenges due to factors such as age, breed, health conditions, or histories of abuse and neglect. Our approach involves:
Offering accessible veterinary care and resources to ensure every animal receives the treatment they deserve.
Prioritizing the needs of the most vulnerable animals, including those with special needs or those who have been overlooked.
Commitment to Communities:
We understand that the communities we serve may face various barriers to accessing animal welfare resources. To address these challenges, we are committed to:
Partnering with local organizations to extend our reach and provide support where it is most needed.
Providing educational resources and assistance to pet owners who may be facing financial or logistical hardships.
