Our Needs
One of our organizational goals is to be self-reliant with percussion equipment. We already own a variety of instruments (timpani, snare drums, etc.), but are looking to add a set of chimes and a vibraphone. In addition to purchasing equipment, there are recurring expenses required for adequate instrument storage space and transportation for said instruments to and from Events. Additionally, the cost of rehearsal and performance spaces continues to rise, advertisements, uniforms, new music, etc. We would love to be more self-sufficient and purchase a cargo trailer to haul percussion equipment to concerts instead of renting a vehicle!
These above examples would make up the bulk of our current agency needs!

Mission
The mission of the Arlington Community Band is to provide free or low cost performances and promote the love and appreciation of music to the greater Arlington area. We strive to perform quality concert band literature that will entertain, inspire, educate and enhance the cultural life of our patrons and performers. We strive to encourage continued development of artistic talents, leaderships skills, and performance accomplishments by serving as volunteer musicians.
Needs
We use donations to purchase new music, pay for our weekly rehearsal space at AISD, U-Haul rentals to transport our percussion from storage to concert venues, etc. There is the occasional need to repair current band owned instruments or purchase new as well.
We really need a donation that would allow us to get new embroidered polo shirts for members. We also would like to purchase music stands and folders for members to use at our numerous events.
We would also love a partnership that would allow us to to play at one of the fantastic venues around Arlington like Levitt Pavilion or the AISD Performing Arts Center!
