$10,000 Goal

Founded in Dallas in 2005 after advertising executive, Tanya Pinto took a life-changing sabbatical to volunteer at Mother Teresa's orphanage in India, Baal Dan Charities (which means Donation to Children) has provided food and essential education and aid to over 12,000 children in 12 developing countries. The charity is run entirely by unpaid volunteers so that nearly every dollar raised goes directly to help children in need - mostly orphans, children with special needs, refugee orphaned children and children living in extreme poverty.
