As we get ready to begin our 7th year of student ministry at BCG Ministries, we can't help but think about how God has been working through this ministry! Our mission has always been to lead students into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and make disciples who make Jesus known by their words and actions.
Since we started in 2018, we have seen over 150 students give their lives to Christ. We've taken over 200 students on mission trips and to church camp. BCG has served over 3000 meals to families through Covid and during holidays. We have been able to provide Christmas gifts to over 250 families in need, provide over 600 hours of free Biblical Counseling to students, and we have awarded over $5,000 in scholarships to Wise County Seniors, just to mention a few of the highlights!
We don't say all of this to boast, rather to show how your donation to BCG Ministries helps make an impact in our entire community. Every dollar donated to our ministry goes to support students and families, and we can't do this without you!
Our leadership team has big plans to reach even more students and families in 2024//2025, and we need your help. Would you please consider giving a financial gift to help support our mission so we can continue to serve the students of Boyd, Texas and Wise County?
BCG Ministries is a not-for-profit, non-denominational student ministry. Every Sunday night throughout the school year we fellowship, worship, pray and share the Gospel to students in 6th - 12th grade. We encourage them to live out Philippians 2:5, "In everything you do, have the attitude of Christ." We remind them of 1 Timothy 4:12, "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity," and we emphasize Matthew 22:37-39, ""Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.
Leading students into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our goal is to Make Jesus known within our schools, homes, and communities. To do that, we need to pour in to students and allow them to experience the love of Jesus Christ. We do this through retreats, mission trips, church camp, serving our community, as well as many outreach programs.
Our biggest need is financial since the majority of our students come from low income families.
At BCG Ministries, our commitment to equity is rooted in the Christian principles of love, justice, and respect for all people. Guided by the teachings of Christ, we affirm that every individual is made in the image of God and deserves to be treated with dignity and fairness.
We are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where every person, regardless of race, gender, age, socioeconomic status, disability, or religious background, is valued and given equal opportunity. Our mission is to reflect God’s love through our actions.
In our work, we strive to embody Christ’s example of compassion and equity. We are committed to examining our own practices, confronting biases, and actively working to ensure that our programs and services are accessible and equitable. By fostering a community of grace and understanding, we seek to build a society where everyone can experience the fullness of God's love and grace.
BCG Ministries is devoted to ongoing growth and reflection in our pursuit of equity. We welcome and encourage dialogue, feedback, and collaboration as we seek to honor God's call to love our neighbors as ourselves and to act justly in all that we do.
