Mission

BUSTER'S FRIENDS IS A RESCUE GROUP DEDICATED TO HELPING ABANDONED AND HOMELESS ANIMALS IN THE CITY OF HOUSTON AS WELL AS THE DALLAS AND FORT WORTH METROPLEX. WE PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE IN THE FORM OF VACCINATIONS, TESTING, AND SPAY/NEUTER SERVICES PRIOR TO ADOPTING OUR ANIMALS INTO LOVING FOREVER HOMES

Needs

Buster's Friends, Inc. is a rescue organization that is solely based on donations with 100% volunteers. About 90% of our operating budget goes towards medical needs in the form of spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchips, and testing. We are a very small organization that has adopted almost 7000 cats and dogs since forming in August of 2009.

One need is money in order to be able to support our foster network in the form of food, litter and monthly flea treatment. A single foster can easily cost $100+ per month. We do feel we can increase our foster network if we are able to offer more support to them. This is more important than ever because we have pivoted slightly and are working with other organizations to transport some of our adoptable kitties up north.

Additional funds are much needed in order to continue our mission of saving homeless animals and getting them in to forever homes.
