Can We Play was birth in 2019 by mistake. I original wanted to trademark Can I Play and my attorney had to change it to Can We Play because it was too close to another brand. In 2021 I decided to use the name to birth my non-profit. It’s amazing how it all worked out. Then there was COVID-19. This is how it all got started. I started my weight loss journey in 2016 and I wanted to lose 50 pounds for my 50th birthday in 2017. As I was on that journey I notice a kid crossing the street and this kid was overweight and that brought me to tears because almost 50 set in my ways but to a kids he had a lot of life to live. I was moved to compassion to create an annual program that would focus on the health for kids and family. This gave birth to me completing and launching this vision this year 2022. I’m excited to bring this program to our communities. It is my vision that this program grows and travel all around the world.
Mission
Our Mission is to provide recreational activities and educational resources that inspire and encourage family and youth to practice good physical health. A healthy lifestyle help strengthen family bonds. Can We Play Inc, a non-profit organization, will teach families how to stay active together and get outside while encouraging family cohesiveness. We will partner with other nonprofits and youth organization to bring awareness to mental health and physical health through fitness & sports activities.

Our 1st event is schedule for Oct. 8, 15,22, & 29 from 10am -12 noon.

Equity Statement
The organization is a non-profit organization and it depends on donations from Governments, the public at large, individuals, corporate social responsibilities, and funds from special social fundraising activities like concerts, selling T-shirts, etc. The organization is seeking funds for development and the expansion of the organization's services. Our fundraising coordinator has established several contribution options that a supporter can select from; Cash Donation, Golf Tournament, Gift of Appreciated, Stock, Legacy Gifts, Corporate Giving and Sponsorship, and Various Campaigns.
