Empower and guide the Venezuelan diaspora in DFW to achieve successful integration in the community.
Venezuelans continue to leave escaping violence, insecurity, crime as well as lack of food, medicine and essential services. With almost 7 million refugees and migrants worldwide, Venezuela has become the second-largest external displacement crisis in the world. There's NO other local NGO focusing on this specific crisis. Therefore, we have many needs because we are attending many needs and we are basically self-funded by the founders.
With the recent crisis (reported on local news) we have been helping to find them temporary lodging, food, clothing, and transportation. Since we are a serious and well established organization, other local organizations (such as Catholic Charites and Refugee Services of Texas) are referring Venezuelan migrants to our attention, but we do not have enough muscle neither funding to face this crisis.
We need the local community to invest in them and together we can help their integration into the community.
We strive to make people feel valued and represented. We are mentors who become brothers and sisters. We treat each one as we dream of being treated if we were in their situation, whatever it may be.
