Christian Community Action 51 years of bringing hope & changing lives
Inspired by the compassion of Jesus Christ, we dedicate ourself to help the impoverished, offering holistic and life-changing services. What began as a humble study group of seven people in Flower Mound, Texas, with the simple act of collecting canned food for one family, has evolved into a thriving agency serving thousands of individuals and families in need.
For over 50 years, CCA has been at the forefront of addressing poverty. Through case management, we embrace a holistic approach that extends from rescue to restoration, empowering individuals in need to achieve self-sufficiency by extending a "hand up" rather than a mere handout.
Mission
In the name of Jesus Christ, Christian Community Action ministers to the poor by providing comprehensive services that alleviate suffering, bring hope and change lives.
Needs
The relentless surge in inflation has pushed countless families to the edge, heightening their reliance on CCA's vital services, particularly in the areas of rent, utility assistance, and food.
As the demand intensifies, CCA finds itself confronted with a formidable challenge to keep pace. Inflationary pressures have forced us to reluctantly turn away clients, especially those seeking financial assistance for rent and mortgage to avert eviction.
At this pivotal juncture, CCA urgently requests financial assistance to persist in serving families grappling with hardship in our community. Your support will serve as a beacon of hope for those in need, enabling us to uphold our mission of compassion and transformation.
Equity Statement
Treat everyone with justice and equality, without any degree of bias or discrimination, and upholding our faith while being tolerant and understanding of the beliefs of others.
"After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands." Revelation 7:9
