Hello, supporters!
This year, we’re raising funds to cover the medical expenses of six dogs recently rescued from Dallas after their owners lost their home. These dogs were left homeless on the streets. Two will undergo heartworm treatment, and little Sammy is scheduled for surgery this week to remove a large mass from his chest. His prognosis is excellent, and this surgery will greatly improve his life.
Additionally, we still have outstanding bills from Rafael’s hospital stay, which saved his life.
CPR is an animal rescue organization run solely by volunteers. Our primary goal is to save dogs from euthanization at shelters. These wonderful animals are put at risk because they have no one to claim and adopt them. We aim to give them the second chance that they so deserve. Our animals come to us from shelters around DFW and stay in foster homes where they are given the medical attention (vaccinations, surgeries, heart worm testing, etc) and care that they deserve.
Chloe's Pet Rescue was devastated by a fire in July 2022. Everything was lost including the life of a very special volunteer and numerous dogs. The entire main building was engulfed in flames and ALL supplies, including a recently stocked medication area are gone. Chloe's literally started from scratch. The president recovered from 2nd and 3rd degree burns but has vowed to return to saving the lives of those who need her and her amazing group of volunteers. She recently purchased a new Honda Odyssey to assist with transports . Rescues are slow but we are still out there doing our part
