“The Church Music Institute is a jewel in the crown of church music.  A great number of North Texas churches, of various sizes and denominations, benefit from the good work of CMI.  Our congregation is immeasurably richer because of our participation in their annual conferences, hymn festivals, and peer learning projects.  Additionally, the Sacred Music Resource Library is 'second to none.'  This organization’s important mission and programming impacts us in remarkable ways.” - Minister of Music, Disciples of Christ Church, Fort Worth, TX

The Church Music Institute serves continually growing numbers of musicians, clergy and congregations wanting to nourish, expand, and resource the worship and music life of their churches. The online music resources of CMI are in demand as church workers and worshippers alike have discovered how important music is to faith. The Church Music Institute responds, serving musicians, clergy and laypersons in all 50 states, 15 foreign countries, and 30 denominations. Subscribing clientele, who now number ~6,500, access online and electronic resources around the clock and events throughout the year. The online, searchable libraries comprise nearly 27,000 choral titles searchable on 17 criteria, including Scripture, and ~16,500 organ titles searchable by hymn tune. CMI holds events across the U.S., recently both in person and virtual, reaching thousands of leaders of music and worship each year.
