The Boy Scouts of America is the nation's foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training. Chartered through the United States Congress as an educational organization, Scouting offers young people responsible fun and adventure, while instilling in them lifetime values, developing ethical character as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law, training in citizenship, service and leadership and serving North Texas and southern Oklahoma communities and families with its quality, values-based program. The Circle Ten Council was chartered as a council in 1913.
The Circle Ten Council, Boy Scouts of America is comprised of 24 counties. Over 36,000 young people participate in the council's Scouting programs on an annual basis and more than 7,800 adult volunteers dedicate their time and energy to make this program a success. Scouting units are chartered to over 700 community organizations such as schools and churches. Scouts today learn lessons about life and the value of being a person of character and integrity.
Our Needs
Your gift is very important to us. The Circle Ten Council, and its executive board, have made commitments to the youth of the communities we serve. A commitment that we will provide the leadership in their schools each week, that we will take them out of their world and into a world where they can fish and ride horses, that we will provide them a better option for their future.
Every donor gets involved for a different reason, but we are all working toward the same goal of preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
We want you to know that your gift is making a difference in both the quantity and quality of the local Scouting program. Thank you for your support of the Circle Ten Council , the young Scouts that we serve and your investment into the leaders of tomorrow's generation.
