At Communities Foundation of Texas what matters most to us is thriving communities for all. It drives our actions, influences our decision-making, informs our programming, inspires our grants, and more!
Since 2006, CFT has made more than 10,960 grants to 954 organizations in Collin County, totaling more than $110.8 million. Collin County, along with all of North Texas, has always been extremely generous.
Although CFT has served the North Texas region for nearly 70 years, a deep commitment was made to further focus and invest in the Collin County community in 2017.
Since that commitment, CFT has mobilized and distributed more than $100 million to Collin County nonprofits through the Collin County Impact Fund, North Texas Cares, and CFT's North Texas Giving Day! On North Texas Giving Day 2022, $7,476,001 was raised supporting 363 different nonprofits in Collin county. $2,563,927 of this nearly $7.5M came from donors with an address located in Collin County. Collin County residents donated $5,103,413 to organizations across North Texas.
