Please join us in impacting families for generations to come!

Dallas has seen unprecedented population growth and Compass is committed to expanding the campus to educate more students.

Compass values inquiry-based learning, academic excellence, and bringing real-world experiences into the classroom to help students draw connections between what they are learning and how they can impact their communities and ultimately the world.

Community Engagement and Parental Empowerment.

We are committed to fostering community engagement and empowering parents through educational initiatives, such as our signature Fireside Chats. Our objective is to equip parents with practical insights and actionable strategies from experts, which can be applied at home. We invite you to participate in our upcoming panel discussions: “A Child’s Brain Development: The Case for Nature and Science,” scheduled for October 9, 6:00-8:00 PM and “Find Your Family Compass with Less Anxiety and More Connection,” set for November 18 5:00-7:00 PM at Hall Arts Hotel. Everyone in the Dallas community is welcome to attend.

Needs

Support Compass' Growing Community

The Compass School of Texas started with 43 students enrolled in 2023 and we enrolled 60 students this fall. We plan to grow by adding one classroom serving a new grade each year until we reach 8th grade. Your support will go directly to the School's operational expenses and curricular needs to advance the mission and vision. Some of our priority areas include:

The Library: Help enhance our library for Compass by filling it with books that inspire our students!

Math Programs: Financial literacy is an important life skill that we teach our students. Math provides a foundation essential to innovation and Compass provides a multi-disciplinary approach to learning math.

Science Curriculum: Our campus is a living lab that students use to explore as they apply scientific reasoning to the natural world.

Farm-to-Table, Mindfulness, and Mental Health Education programs. Students plant, harvest and cook healthy foods that offer quality nutrition that helps them focus better in and outside of the classrooms. We have an annual Farmer's Market and provide handmade products for our community members.

Parent Education Series: Our goal is to host three-four per year. We are dedicated to empowering parents through education and raising awareness about essential programs and concepts for which we passionately advocate. We focus on crucial topics such as brain development, the transformative power of education, and the importance of being a lifelong learner. Our goal is to equip parents with valuable tips and actionable strategies they can implement at home, fostering an enriching environment for their children’s growth and success.
