Dear Future is a North Texas nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting education on a global scale for the wellbeing of everyone, including ourselves. We believe that education is a fundamental tool for fostering dignity, equality, and global growth. By supporting educational initiatives in some of the world's most remote and impoverished regions, we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and their communities.
One of our LOCAL and most exciting programs is our pen pal initiative, designed to cultivate understanding, kindness, and empathy among young students. This program works tirelessly to connect children from North Texas with their peers in the remote Andes of Peru, as well as extremely poor regions in Uganda, Zambia, and Jordan. Through this exchange, we aim to bridge cultural divides and foster a sense of global citizenship.
We firmly believe that children have a wealth of knowledge and experiences to share with one another. By connecting students from vastly different backgrounds, we provide them with the opportunity to learn about diverse cultures, build meaningful relationships, and develop a sense of interconnectedness. Our pen pal program is just one example of how Dear Future is working to create a more empathetic and understanding world, one Postcard at a time.
Through our various educational initiatives, Dear Future is committed to supporting the academic and personal growth of children in need. We invite you to join us in our mission to promote education and global understanding, ensuring a brighter future for all.
Our Mission is to bring Education and Health to children living in Remote and Extremely poor regions of the world; and to create a cultural bridge between our children and those living in far corners.
Our organization works diligently to progressively help children's education and one of our programs needs a boost:
Our Pen Pal program has proven to be a very successful and meaningful program for our children in North Texas. We aim to fundraise to keep this program going. We work really hard to reach out to more schools in our area to create international meaningful connections but our growth has forced us to scale down. We hope to fundraise in order bring this program to as many students as we could possibly bring.
Dear Future treats and cares for all people with kindness, respect, dignity and compassion. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, or disability.
